With love i do Plain Jane with a heart of gold

I can be slow to let people into my heart but am loyal to my friends and I'm a good listener. My intelligence is above average (provable) and I am not particularly good at small talk. I'm a gentle person, on the introverted and creative side, and I love the natural world and draw peace and strength from it. I consider myself more of a homemaker than an adventurer, but I do some non-traditional things (like a bit of DIY and fixing up old furniture). I am very self-conscious about my appearance because of past injuries to my face, which makes me hate that aspect of dating sites. But I've often been told I'm "cute" and that I have a nice voice.
